Reasons to Refinance


There are many reasons to refinance your current home loan or mortgage. The major reasons we see our Florida home owners refinancing are to:

For a fixed monthly payment - Switch from an Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM) to a Fixed Rate Mortgage (FRM)
 

To take advantage of lowering interest rates - Switch from a Fixed Rate Mortgage to an ARM in a market with rising interest rates.
 

Or, to move into a lower fixed rate in a market where interest rates are decreasing.

Borrow Money for Other Purposes

The equity that you have accumulated in your home can help you qualify for a loan of up to 100% of your home's value.
 

Each lender has different programs so the amount you may borrower varies from 75% to 100% of your equity.
 

You can use this money to make home improvements, pay down debts, finance your children's education, or expand your business.

Example:

If your home is worth $200,000 and your mortgage balance is $50,000, you could borrow $150,000 (100% of your current home's value).

After refinancing your mortgage balance of $50,000, you would have $150,000 remaining to cash out.
